The Problem:

Finding Internet access while away from the home or office can be a real hit or miss task. Though dozens of cities across the United States - including Philadelphia and San Francisco - are rushing to offer low or no-cost wireless Internet access to their residents to spur economic development and help bridge the digital divide, web access is far from ubiquitous.

The Solution:

Encourage your municipality to be more aggressive about providing free Internet access to the masses. Of course, that’s bad news for the large telephone companies and the cable operators, but affordable, universal access will make our state and our nation more competitive in the global marketplace.
